Just watched the tv documentary, Bowling for Columbine.. aired at arts central.. i dont know how to say.. i didnt think it would be that entertaining.. but heck, the other channels arent really showing any nice shows, so i thought, "ah, what the hell.." i watched it.
im blogging it down cuz its one of the most confusing tv documentaries that ive ever watched before..

how should i describe it.. provocative? on the whole, its like a show thats fighting for columbine high school, which experienced the shooting massacre back then.. it first started off as tho its like raising awareness of people of america the dangers of their freedom to own a weapon.. but as the show unfolded, its like shredding truth out of a government's conspiracy, the people, how fear affects thousands of americans, how the consumer system is handling sales to ensure people keep buying, racism.. they re even threatened by the very existence of their own kids, who may very well, be the ones that kills them.. i thought it was fighting for banning of sales of weapons freely, but the documentor himself is a gun lover. He s born in michigan, a state where people are crazy about weapons..

another factor that made this even interesting was when they reached to the part of how fear is controlling how the people live.. i kinda find that true in reality.. they showed how news, advertisements create fear among the people thus enable them to keep earning as people would buy.. for example, (this is my way of explaining..) there is no deny that mosquitoes poses a threat to the health of people right? therefore, there is already a certain fear for them.. Here is where news come in.. they would have a daily reports of how high death rates have gone because of the mosquitoes.. after that, ads comes in, throwing hope at us consumers, by selling insecticides..

anyways, im just blathering away what i think. it probably does not make any sense at all.
as usual, i think too much. heh..
