I was sent to join the singapore police force.
It was a shocking morning, oh yes it was. Saw the letter and i was praying for the Army. I got the police force instead. I was dissapointed i guess. Yet, excited. I didnt expect to be drafted there, so, im about to be a police officer. lol. I used to make fun of those in NPCC since i was in NCC. I guess, they have the last laugh huh. It dosent matter i guess. if its fated, i shall go through with it willingly. Who knows, i might just be good at it like i was in NCC. Although its a much different level though.
So this is to NCC. A memorable yet fulfilling 5 years of my life serving what seem to be a fraction taste of the army. All that pride while donning the army uniform during ncc and making fun of npcc got a bloody nose the moment this letter came. haha.. how childish was i back then.
yet, i wonder still.. why police.. beats civil defence though. thank god.
