Im still at Home team academy. Which sucks, really. The place is literally sucking the life out of me. Im getting sick and tired of looking at the same place, eating the same shit that they have over there. While living the trainee life is easy, it gets really freakking boring. While my intake has started on their various postings and courses, here i am with my squad and the rest of the ndp squads, still doing the same shit. Urgh. I cant wait to get out of here.
Speaking about getting out, my passing out ceremony is kinda like 3 weeks away? Final 2 major exams to go and im done with the trainee life. Gotta start busting my brains for a lil bit more. A scenario based role-play test and mcq test.
Once im cleared with that, im out of hta and next, to a camp in queenstown. Ladies and Gentlemen (especially my close friends) im proud to annouce that ive been posted to SOC. Special Operations Command. Ive passed the interview, cleared the criterias and once (again) when im done with the tests, im going over for an 8 weeks training to be a trooper. Good pay allowances, extra allowances on deployment after qualified, hellish training (they dare say, tougher than what tekong has to offer) what more can they offer. I believe i said something like busting my brains before right? Well, this part after busting my brains, i believe would be busting my ass. Hopefully i could hold out and survive their training.
Its make over time boy.
Next is NDP. Being able to participate as the Guard of Honour in this year's ndp is a great experience. Not all might be able to do this and i luckily got to do it twice. NCC GOH for Outram Centennial Parade and NDP 09 Police GOH. I cherish the times that had past during trainings and even more for the last 2 parades to come. This will stay etch in my memory till the day comes that i breathe my last air into my body. My squadmates and other coy mates, along with the regulars shall be remembered for life. Being able to wear the ceremonial number one (the ones in WHITE, yt. lol) and holding the sar 21 rifle brings me great pride and honour.
To tmr's parade and our last dance on 9th of august. AWUHHH.
im gonna take like fucking thousand and one photos. Till now, i still havent got a decent one for myself yet. awesome.
